Rob’s Fall Off the Bone Ribs

Serves: 
4
Ingredients: 

3 racks baby back ribs
1 bottle of your favorite barbecue sauce
1 cup ketchup
4 tbs. garlic powder
2 tbs. salt
1 tsp. pepper

Instructions: 
  1. Place ribs in a large pot and cover with water.
  2. Add salt, pepper, and 2 tbs. garlic powder and bring to a boil. 
  3. Cook for 45 minutes – 1 hour until meat has shrunk on the bone.
  4. Meanwhile, mix remaining ingredients in a small bowl.
  5. Remove and transfer cooked ribs to a large pan or cookie sheet.
  6. Liberally apply barbecue mixture to ribs, saving ½ for later. Marinate ribs for 1-2 hrs. in the refrigerator.
  7. BBQ on high heat adding marinade liberally before turning ribs.
  8. Remove to cutting board when cooked to your liking.
  9. Enjoy with coleslaw and grilled corn on the cob!
